Coding Bootcamp Guides is free to read. To keep it that way, we may earn money when you click some links on this site and then buy or sign up for something. This page explains how that works and how we keep it from influencing what we write.
Affiliate links
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and then enroll in a program, buy a course, or subscribe to a service, the company may pay us a commission or referral fee. You never pay more because you used our link. Sometimes our link gets you a discount, and when it does, we say so.
Any page that contains affiliate links says so at the top of the page, before the first link.
How we keep our reviews honest
- We review schools whether or not they pay us. Most coding bootcamps don’t run affiliate programs, and we cover them anyway.
- Commissions never decide a rating, a ranking, or a recommendation. If a program isn’t worth the money, we say so, even if it would pay us.
- We don’t sell reviews, rankings, or “featured” placements. No school can pay to be reviewed, to see a review before it’s published, or to change one.
- We check facts at the source. Prices, terms, and outcomes come from each school’s own pages, and every review shows the date we last verified it.
- We correct mistakes. If something on this site is wrong or out of date, tell us and we’ll fix it.
Advertising
We may show display ads on some pages, served by advertising networks such as Google AdSense. We don’t choose the individual ads, and an ad on this site isn’t an endorsement. We keep ads off our bootcamp reviews.
Who writes our content
Our bootcamp reviews and guides are written by Michael Stromberg, a 2016 Hack Reactor graduate who has worked in software development ever since. We use research and writing tools to help us work faster, but every recommendation on this site reflects our own judgment.
